Ski Please

This year I’ve taken Kiara and Kayli skiing up to Alta a few times. They mostly love it, Kayli more than Kiara, but I think they both have fun (I know I do). Next year I’ll have them strap on boards and we’ll do a season of boarding and see which one they like better. I plan on taking Marcee up snowboarding this year as well as she thinks she will like that better than skiing. We shall see :) .

High School Musical 2 Movie Day

The girls and their cousins got to go see HSM 2. They had a blast. Check out these pics of the fun and exciting adventure.

Updating my family blog

Yea, so my sister Hilary just found out that I have a blog and asked this last week why I don’t update it that often. There are a couple of reasons I don’t like to update it all that often, mainly because it takes so freakin’ long to update and part of the stuff I want to write about really doesn’t really need to be read by anyone. I guess that’s where the journal entries come in (probably should start doing that). I like writing and posting and all that fun stuff, I think I just need to learn to keep it short, sweet and to the point.

Anywho - so I saw Hilary yesterday at her daughter’s birthday party and I asked her if she had been to my blog yet that day. She responded yes! I had to laugh because it had just been 2 days since our initial conversation.

So for Hilary, here is a blog post just so you can read it (I’ll check with you tonight at my birthday party to see if you read it!).

BRINNER!

The invention of BRINNER is one of the best inventions ever. You get to eat breakfast for dinner!!!!!! Me being a cereal/breakfast lover this is just awesome. So Marcee was having a GNO (Girls Night Out) the other night and she asked me to feed the kids, maybe a grilled cheese sandwich or something. I thought “Nah, I don’t cook” and the only option I wanted to do was cereal, but our disposal is broken, kitchen was a bit ‘o disastrous so I asked the girls if they wanted to head out to one of their favorite places that their daddy takes them, IHOP.

Their responses were an emphatic yes! Last time we went they had pancakes with a sucker in them. Who can beat that for a kid, pancake, butter, syrup (one of the 4 food groups) and a SUCKER. They were hoping to get this same thing but it wasn’t on the menu this time. Kiara got the little dollar sized pancakes and Kayli ordered the smiley face pancake. Both were in HEAVEN!
